Company formerly know as BITSystems, purchased by CACI in 2013. Technical Lead on the Mission Support Data Storage (MSDS) project. Oversee the development side of the project, tasking the other Java developers as well as also partaking in those tasks. Involved in multiple phases of the development life cycle, from design through testing and post delivery operational support. Technologies include Oracle for the database, Tomcat for the application server, ActiveMQ for JMS, SOAP and REST for web services via Axis2 and Jersey respectively. Migrated the application to the Amazon cloud in 2018 (think AWS; EC2, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, etc). Development tools being used include Git, Eclipse, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and more. We follow the Agile methodolggy. Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph and Security+ certification.

Technical Lead for the Multifamily Underwriting development effort, a multi-year, phased release of a web based mortgage underwriting application using J2EE technology. Tasks include design, development, integration and testing of the application functionality, assistance to team members for same, review of requirements, designs and code, database table design, serve as CM person for the development effort, build and deploy the application for testing and deploy the application to the production environment. Also serve as the point of contact between the client and the development team for requirements communication and issue resolution. Also created much of the application framework used as the basis for the Multifamily organization’s systems. The framework uses Struts, XML, JSPs, servlets, EJBs, Javascript, custom taglibs, metadata, web services, BOs, DAOs, etc. The environment was Weblogic 8.1, Ant, Sybase 12.5, Eclipse, Tivoli Access Manager (TAM) and ClearCase/ClearQuest.

Worked on a variety of technical projects in the corporate, eCustomer, and Telecommunications business areas. Highlights included work as a primary member in the creation of a J2EE framework for use throughout the corporation, technical lead on multiple large scale Motif applications, and work on the corporate C++ framework. Worked in Windows and Unix environments, using C, C++, Perl, SQL, and Java with a variety of RDBMSes and other applications and tools.
