Bill leads Pillar Advisors, LLC which specializes in providing advisory services, Board representation, interim or part time Management and Financial Services with strengths in the oil and gas, distribution, retail, manufacturing, horticultural and services industries. The company provides an array of financial functions associated with the CFO position, along with a wide range of operational functions associated with the President or CEO role. Services also include technology sourcing and implementation focusing on full ERP implementations along with web site development and social media. Bill led Master Nursery Garden Centers, Inc. which is the nations largest lawn & garden cooperative, from 2004 to 2012. During that time He managed all aspects of the 800 member purchasing and private label group. He directed sales, product development, marketing, customer service, and operations, along with financial and administrative functions. During his time at Master Nursery, Bill took the lead in structuring a merger of the company's largest competitor into Master Nursery and increased distribution of the company's private label products. While at Master Nursery, Bill worked regularly with the owners of member companies to assess, and provide growth oriented advice to thier operrations. He also implemented a complete new Accounting System and launched several new product lines.

Serving as Monrovia's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer, Bill led several major projects and implementations. He managed the financial and accounting areas of the company along with I/T, legal and purchasing across five locations. Bill assembled a $110 million bank group which facilitated a significant acquisition creating a national presence for the company and elevating Monrovia to the largest producer of foundation landscape plants in North America. Bill also led a major ERP installation and worked on a team to divest a significant land asset. He reported to the CEO and served on the company's Executive Committee.

As Chief Financial Officer for Northern Engraving and Northen Automotive, Bill managed the financial, I/T, purchasing and legal areas for the company across 10 facilities including manufacturing facilities in the United States as well as in the United Kingdom. Bill raised funding for a major expansion of the company's facility in South Wales. He implemented the company's first computerized cost accounting system. Bill also implemented a tax free divsion of the company into two separate entities, and was responsible for gaining a major contract on the Ford F150 series. He reported to the Owner and President of the company and served on the company's Executive Committee.

Bill was the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for Gateway Foods, Inc. from 1989 until 1994. Gateway Foods was a leading food distributor and retailer wilh sales in excess of $2 billion annually. During his time at Gateway Foods, Bill oversaw tremendous growth in the company while managing a large investor and banking group. He reported directly to the President of the company, served on the Executive Committee, and was responsible for all financial funtions across 8 divisions along with leading the Information Technolgy and Human Resources areas of the company.
