I have spent 35 years in the construction business, from starting on the shop floor to installer to superintendent, project management, sales, and as a principal and founder. Many signature projects across the Midwest, particularly in the Twin Cities. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun, and there are many times I miss the people and the activity, as well as the projects. Since my retirement from InterClad/Egan, I have taken the time to further my volunteer activities primarily in youth sports in Burnsville as well as becoming involved at the High School level, coaching football and baseball as an assistant. I worked with the youth hockey program from 2013 to 2019, as Gambling Manager and the as Gambling Oversight Chair. I worked with the Club to streamline the Charitable gambling operation, increasing profits returned to the kids from 71st out of 78 in the state to 31st in our first year, as well as restructuring operations to flow within a volunteer organization such as Burnsville Hockey Club. I was also Vice President for Burnsville Athletic Club and Board Member for 8 years, and served on the baseball and football boards for BAC.Most recently, I have accepted the Head Varsity Baseball Coach position for Lakeville South High School, and joining the football staff as an assistant. I have also been involved in other Boards, President of Geldners Lane Home Owners Association and more recently President of the Board of German Jefferson Lakes Association. At Harmon, InterClad/Egan, as well as all of my Board positions, I had Profit/Loss responsibility and budgetary responsibility as well as the operational aspects. While I enjoyed the numbers aspect, I especially enjoyed building high functioning teams that were motivated by the culture.
