Bill Kaplan provides legal consulting services to public and private businesses. He has served on the executive teams of, and as general counsel to, publicly traded biotech and e-commerce companies and a venture-backed software business. He built and managed legal teams and negotiated a variety of commercial and strategic transactions.Bill has counseled boards and handled a range of governance, employment, FDA, public reporting, real estate and regulatory issues. He managed the legal aspects of business expansion and distribution in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Middle East. He oversaw the defense of major lawsuits, including securities and consumer class actions and critical patent infringement litigation.Bill received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis and an undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
