My work lies in recruiting and retaining high quality school and school systems leaders, and then leveraging their collective wisdom to make greater systemic change. Our schools must be focused on the growth and development of every child. They must indubitably expand their partnerships with community based organizations, hospitals, social service agencies to ensure that every removable obstacle that stands before the child and desired learning outcome is removed. For too long we have used our public resources to divide and separate people by race, class, and gender. The work before us today is to design systems that will be relevant tomorrow and innovative tomorrow.I have worked with students of all abilities to become their best selves. As teacher, camp counselor, administrator, principal and principal supervisor, I bring a focused, honed lens to the work of continuous improvement for the sake of our children's learning.
