I served as the ultimate arbitrator for employee issues. I represented Youth Tennis San Diego in the community.

Upgraded the accounting system to allow for monthly operating reports, converted from manual to computer system (Quickbooks). Negotiated grant assistance from the section which ultimately allowed the district to become financially self-sufficient - grew treasury from about $7K to over $150K in four years.

Started out from scratch (brand new club) to create all systems at the club - including accounting systems (in conjunction with a professional programmer, wrote a Basic program to manage the club finances), created the tennis lesson program and taught tennis lessons about 40 hours/week. Hired/fired/trained employees and did all associated paperwork including payroll preparation, payroll deposits, and all human resources functions. Managed the pool, including pool chemistry, general use and lesson programs. Handled marketing of club memberships as well as all servicing of club memberships. Wrote and signed checks, did bank reconciliations, etc. Owned and operated a tennis shop inside the club, this included purchasing of merchandise, racquet stringing and managing the books for tennis lessons. Handled all insurance policies. Oversaw all grounds maintenance.
