First Season Project is a transition into ministry initiative sponsored by Christian Theological Seminary with support from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. The initiative utilizes a retreat format to support recent seminary graduates in their first 3-5 years of pastoral ministry. Retreats include sharing in immersion experiences, engaging best ministry practices, joining in prayer and other spiritual disciplines, and cultivating supportive, collegial friendships with other new pastors and with seasoned pastoral leaders.
