Celebrating 30 years in Chicago real estate, Bill Knapp has a lot to be proud of. He has utilized his extensive experience in sales, recruiting and management to open his own firm Lake Shore Drive Realty, Inc. which now has offices in Chicago, Gurnee and Naperville. The hard work he has invested is paying off. Bill has earned high honors throughout his career and has consistently been named one of the Chicago Association of Realtor’s top agents achieving the highest levels of residential awards placing him in the top 1% of all Realtors®. The Wall Street Journal recently named him as one of the top 100 producing real estate brokers in the United States.Knapp credits his success to careful brand positioning and tireless work ethic. He is passionate about building a family owned and operated brokerage firm with the help of his wife Marcy. Together, they make a powerful team strategically marketing their clients’ properties to achieve the maximum desired result(s). “I have been with large and small and both independently owned and franchised operations. I have seen a lot of changes in the industry over the years however the paradigm has never shifted away from providing the highest levels of service and delivering sustainable value to the client. The best will always rise to the top.” Bill is a native Chicagoan and nearly life-long resident of the North Shore. When not meeting with clients or assisting his agents he enjoys competing in triathlon and marathon events. “I love Chicago and I love selling real estate almost as much as I love swimming, biking and running along Lake Shore Drive. There is nothing else I would rather be doing!”

While working for Coldwell Banker, I managed a branch office in Highlands Ranch Colorado. After the company consolidated multiple offices, I was transferred to Weston Florida to head up the recruiting responsibilities for five counties including Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. I worked with senior management and branch managers to build the organization by recruiting new agents to the company with an emphasis on experienced agents. After working for one of the largest real estate corporations in the world, my wife and I decided to head home and open our own company, Lake Shore Drive Realty. Building our own brand provides us much more stability and greater profitability while allowing us the joy of spending more time with our families.
