The Lord Jesus blessed me yet again by allowing me to be the Spiritual Care Coordinator and Chaplin for Advantage Home Health and Hospice in the Lehigh Valley of Eastern Pennsylvania. starting in April of 2023. Before this, I became the Sr. Pastor of Brookside Wesleyan Church to help that church overcome several huddles to growth and outreach. For a season before that, I was the Online Enrollment Advisor for Houghton College, a Christian liberal arts college in Upstate New York.The last 25 years of my career as been in service to God’s Kingdom by assistant or lead pastoring churches in the Northeast and the Midwest United States. Most recently, I retired after 9 years as lead pastor of Fillmore Wesleyan Church in Fillmore, New York. Before being called to Fillmore, I had the wonderful opportunity to pastor Willow Community Church in Lansing, Michigan for five years. I am blessed to be in the Hospice environment where I can use my extensive ministry career to help individuals and their families deal with the journey toward end of life. Being an ordained minister of the has given me many opportunities to work in several different capacities while pastoring local churches and developing interpersonal skills and leadership. I truly thank Jesus for allowing me to work on ways to connect small and rural churches across the United States with the North America Head Quarters of the Wesleyan Church. I also have had the privilege of being involved in the church planting movement helping future church planters develop ministry goals and articulate mission and vision.Previous to answering the call to fulltime ministry, I enjoyed several years in outside sales, representing companies and products used in high-speed packaging, automotive assembly lines and web press printing. The years between college and sales, provided experience in retail management with Meijer, Inc., a large-scale department store with locations in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
