Bill is the Chief Investment Strategist for Arlington, a multi-family office. In his role, he is a member of Arlington’s Investment Committee and is a senior member of the Investment Team that is responsible for investment strategy, asset allocation, risk management and manager due diligence & selection. Bill also serves as a personal Family CIO for many of our families to provide customized investment advice and recommendations to meet their individual needs.Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Bill was the Chief Investment Officer for a large single-family office in Birmingham, AL serving 3 generations responsible for investments as well as most other services of the family office. Previously, Bill was responsible for mergers & acquisitions for another single-family office in Denver, CO, as well as for two public conglomerates including US Industries and Hanson PLC in New York. Additionally, he spent over four years as a Management Consultant and Corporate Finance professional for Price Waterhouse in Los Angeles. Bill received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Colorado and his MBA from Indiana University. He also has earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.Bill has been married to Elizabeth for over 30 years and is father to 5 children. He is chair of the Finance Committee for Grace House Ministries, an investment committee member of the United Way of Central Alabama and is an active leader in his church with a passion for families and marriage.
