I assist shoppers with their needs, showing them the items we have available, answering questions and looking up information about the items. I work on weekends, part time, primarily in the Seasonal section of the store. I also advise customers of extra services, store credit cards, a special card for logging purchases, en extended warranty for large items and other services. My duties also call for loading items into customers' vehicle and keeping shelves stocked.

I report judgments from Hoke County Criminal Court, cover city council meetings monthly in Raeford, N.C., and write other stories as requested by the editor of this small weekly newspaper. I am still writing for them.
