The B# Big Band is Melbourne’s most exciting swingin’ Big Band. B# pulls together some of Australia’s best individual jazz performers to perform the classic arrangements of Basie, Ellington, Goodman, Miller and other Big Cats of the 30’s, 40’s & 50’s.The lion’s share of B#‘s arrangements are for a 17 piece Big Band – and they take it to the stage that way, just as the original arrangers intended. That means a big, slick, energised sound, with more than a nod to the particular acoustic style of the era. However, if a smaller version of B# is what you’re after, then the 10 piece B# ‘Little’ Big Band is the perfect alternative solution.My role is to coordinate with the event production manager, event stage manager, audio and lighting teams and banquet staff within the venue or festival. I manage the musicians and singers to ensure all productions times are adhered to with sound check, meals and performances.

I can manage multiple stages, multiple sound engineers and I adopt a tailored global stage management approach.I can Install sound and lighting systems, manage the inclusion of marquees, stages and drapery from sub hire companies, and manage multiple staff and complex logistics plans at large events.I also work extensively to find new business and build the existing client base. I photograph events to build a comprehensive library of material for marketing and training purposes. Many events are showcased in photo albums on the HB Audio Facebook page.

Harts Party Hire started business in 1989 and is one of the most recognised marquee hire and event hire companies in Melbourne. An extensive range of marquees and many complementary products such as stages, flooring and furniture are available for hire. Over the past seven years the range has grown to include pallet furniture, wine barrels and LED event lighting.As a business professional I have designed and implemented a unique digital sales folder for all sales staff providing in depth information to assist with the completion of quotes and orders.I have taken great pride in the design of events and have created 3D site plans and event spaces to ensure all aspects of the event have been considered including permits, logistics, catering and site safety. Showing clients a 3D rendered image has also ensured that their vision is being interpreted correctly and my ideas as a creative designer will contribute to an incredible event. With my experience in sound and lighting I have pushed the boundaries of what is possible to create memorable designs and lasting customer experiences.

Audio Visual Dynamics provides a complete Audio Visual solution servicing the Hotel and Conference Venue market together with a wide range of Corporate and Industry partners.My role is to work in venues including the MCG, Etihad Stadium, Melbourne Town Hall, Grand Hyatt Hotel, Sofitel and Langham Hotel. I install sound and lighting systems for events and sometimes work as a stage manager during the function. My skills and experience allow me to work effectively with specialist sound, lighting and vision technicians and when necessary work with the client to deliver the event.
