Developed community programs aimed at preventing crime in the different communities within the five boroughs that make up the City of New York and teaching citizens how to protect themselves from different types of crimes and scams that can occur. Conducted crime analysis of different communities, and generated initiatives based on the findings to create programs for the targeted communities. These plans included development of youth focused programs, crime prevention marketing within the community, emergency response measures, violence prevention, senior violence prevention programs, and personal safety programs for seniors, adults and children. Worked closely with Police commanders to address pattern crimes and developed techniques used by investigators to apprehend suspects.Developed strategic plans for security of physical structures located throughout the city and state of New York at particular buildings and sites to prevent criminal activities and acts of terrorism by utilizing crime prevention through environmental design techniques. Highly involved in the development of the evacuation and emergency response plans that were utilized by the City of New York during the 9/11/2001 attacks on the World Trade Center.
