He has used radio, webinars, television, and other media to communicate to audiences regionally, nationally and globally. Bill has lectured, participated on juries, and taught classes on sustainable and ecological design since the 1970’s at the Yestermorrow Design Build School, the University of Vermont, Dartmouth College, the University of Pennsylvania, Sci-Arc and numerous other institutions. He has served as the president of the VT Chapter of the AIA, a board member and public policy chair for Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility, a board member at Yestermorrow Design Build School, and numerous community boards.
