I am an Engineer with twenty eight years of experience in multi-national, highly team-oriented environments specializing not only in product design but also in production support, continuous improvement, engineering process development, manufacturing engineering and lean principles. I possess a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology, a M.S. in Engineering Technology and I have a lifetime worth of practical and technical engineering experience along with a wealth of common sense and the ability to actually implement and use it. I have four years of dedicated purchasing experience in my background which taught me not only negotiating skills but also planning, scheduling and material management. I believe this experience places me in a unique position to bridge the sometimes difficult span between product development and the purchasing, quality and manufacturing worlds. I am looking to leverage my years of knowledge, experience and training working and communicating effectively as a team member for both large and small companies, including lean manufacturing and on multi-national teams to become a positive and productive addition to any engineering team.Prior to getting my Engineering degree and starting my professional career I was an ASE Certified Auto Mechanic working at Quaid Imports in Riverside, CA. and P&R Service in Stevensville, MI. from the early to mid 1980's. During my military service I attended and graduated Primary Leadership Development School and I served for four years as Section Chief of Communications in my company with five direct reports.
