Management responsibilities included:•Managed an annual operating budget of $210 M with 350 salary (managers and engineers) and 1600 hourly employees.•Hired 150 salary employees and over 800 hourly employees. •Managed a $600M capital spending program to add new engine and restart vehicle assembly.•Reduced Operating cost by establishing three 3rd party services contracts which required hiring an additional 150 employees. •Maintained the day to day operations of an existing engine manufacturing operation, sheet metal stamping operation and injection molding operation while reducing Engine CPU (Cost Per Unit) by 8% yr to yr and Stamping CPT (Cost Per Ton) by 22% yr to yr.•Managed 29% increase in the existing engine through-put, •Improved Engine Quality Internal Parts Per Million (IPPM) by 30%.•Maintained an effective working relationship with Local and National UAW. -
