Provides wildlife and ecosystem consulting services with special emphasis in the areas of agriculture/conservation policy, energy/biofuel, forestry and sustainability of natural communities. Services include stragic planning, ecosystem project consultation, policy analysis, issue monitoring/tracking/research/analysis, meeting facilitation, coalition building, report preparation and related activities.

Led a Division of 92 professional staff (wildlife and fisheries biologists, foresters, community conservationists, and others) that provided fish, forest and wildlife techical assistance to MIssouri landowners. Services included natural community restoration, wildlife habitat improvement, pond/lake/stream management, wildlife damage management (including feral hog control and co-chairmanship with the State Veterinarian of the Governor's Feral Hog Control Task Force) and integration of conservation in urbanizing situations. The focus was often to integrate fish, forest and wildlife considerations in concert with agriculture and Farm Bill conservation programs and initiatives. Prior to serving as Division Chief, held positions that included Farm Bill point-person for the agency, field biologist in an 11 county district in Southeast Missouri, as well as that of conservation agent (wildlife law enforcement) at the beginning of my professional career with the agency.
