Today, January 13th, 2014, I begin (or should I say re-begin) my journey into the broker world. After two successful years at M&T Bank, I've decided to re-open Agape Home Mortgage, the company that I ran and managed for 20 years from 1991-2011. I am excited for this opportunity to be back in the broker world again. There is so much to offer here and this is where I thrived. Even though I did this before with Agape, there is so much that is new since I shut it down in 2011. Many of you will receive a post card from me shortly announcing my transition. Others will see the email within LinkedIn, publishing my move. Either way, I welcome your questions and comments.I started in the mortgage business in March of 1986. Much has changed in the way mortgages are done, however one thing that hasn't changed is the need for personal touch. I have learned over the years that nothing replaces the joy of helping someone get into a home that they didn't even think they could afford. Before computers became a part of our day-to-day at work, most everything was done by hand, in person. When the technology began to advance, I wanted to embrace it right away. However, one thing I didn't want to forfeit was the personal touch. I felt that if I could intertwine technology into the personal touch, I would really have something. I have found that this is rare today, however, I believe that I am on the right path. .Specialties: Mortgage finance focused on the successful implementation of problem solving management.
