Plan, coordinate and manage the operations and resources of the Tidal Unit. Contribute to the development and implement plans for existing and future services.Take responsibility for implementation and delivery of services related tides and perturbations in sea levels and support the development and implementation of tsunami warning services.Maintain awareness of the latest trends and developments relevant to the activities of the Tidal Unit and advise on the applicability of developments.Liaise with relevant internal and external bodies, both national and international, on scientific and technical aspects of projects and on developments. Attend relevant national and international fora.In a national context, provide specialist advice on tides, tsunamis, changes in sea level.Review scientific and technical specifications and standards.
