Provides direct support to the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Enabler Program Management Office (PMO). Analyze and document requirements for data sharing between the Enabler Framework and other DoD Components. Coordinate system interface design meetings and provide technical documentation in support of system interface requirements. Install, support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure for the CNIC Enabler project. Setup user accounts; permissions and passwords, granting access to the Enabler system. Analyze and resolve issues, from a major system crash to a forgotten password. Provide Tier II and Tier III level software and hardware support to the CNIC Support Center for the Food Service, MEC Utility and Weapons Issuance applications. Provide training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.

Provided direct support to the CNIC Common Access Card (CAC) PM for the coordination and supervision of the sustainment of CAC applications to include: overseeing the CAC application help desk; compose, review and coordinate CAC program documents including, training materials, procedural guidance, information papers and analysis reports related to the support and maintenance of CAC applications; provide support for USN ashore facilities in using and fixing of CAC program support applications. Act as a project coordinator for application implementation and information distribution. Participated with the planning, documenting, testing and implementation of a CNIC system that uses smart card technology. Install, support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure for the CNIC Enabler project. Setup user accounts; permissions and passwords, granting access to the Enabler system. Provides technical liaison support to the CAC PMO. Supervise CAC application help desk and provide Tier II and Tier III level support to technicians at outlying sites. Coordinate CAC application implementation strategies and the distribution of application documentation. Install and test software packages and upgrades prior to customer delivery. Provide in depth training to customers in the areas of application usage and maintenance. Responsible for the procurement and distribution of hardware. Maintain Department of the Navy Application and Database Management System (DADMS) entries for all CAC program applications. Submit required documentation, testing parameters and application software to Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) for Enterprise testing and certification.

Supported the smart card technology implementation efforts for the Navy’s Pensacola regional facilities. Provided planning for installation of applications, which included site surveys of facilities and selection of appropriate software/hardware. Provided installation, training and follow-on software, hardware, and network technical support for all smart card related applications implemented in the Pensacola region. Provided business case analysis and assisted customers in developing new business processes with smart card technology. Provided logistic support for project hardware and software worth over $200,000. Provided database maintenance and administration for all applications.

Responsible for the implementation, technical support and network administration of five 3G International projects at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida. These projects consisted of Joint Food Service, Smart Immune, MWR Participation Tracking, Joint Card Issuance, and Joint Card Maintenance. Additionally responsible for technical support for the USS Yorktown’s (CG-48) Electronic Purse application. Provided installation/ technical support to various applications out of area when required (e.g., National Car Rental Loyalty Program in Atlanta, GA; SDI/Smart Immune installation at MCRD Parris Island, SC and SDI/Smart Immune installation at MCRD San Diego, CA).
