Founding principal of Mitchener Properties, LLC William T Mitchener has participated in over 75 development projects through out the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland and Florida during his 33 year career in commercial real estate. He had sole responsibility for providing all equity and securing financing on 40 projects, as well as responsibility for all aspects of the development process , from entitlements to construction to sale of the properties. Total market value of these single tenant projects is over $300 million dollars. Tenants include Eckerd, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Advance Auto Sheetz, Verizon, Food Lion , Chipotle, Aspen Dental, Popeyes, Take Five, and Arbys. A graduate of the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration , Bill began his career as a Certified Public Accountant , becoming the third partner in a Charlotte based development company that grew to 40+employees prior to forming Mitchener Properties, LLC. A member of the International Council Of Shopping Centers , he also was an equity investor in several Target anchored community shopping centers and over 750,000 square feet of industrial properties. Current investments include a 200 unit apartment development project in Wilmington, NC and also an investor in a Take Five Oil Change Franchisee in North Carolina. Bill is a licensed pilot and enjoys golf and snow skiing. He lives with his family in Charlotte, NC.
