An experienced architect and urban design professional with a career dedicated to the enhancement of the public domain and the development of sustainable urban environments through the practise of architecture, masterplanning, placemaking, urban infrastructure design and industrial design. A significant portfolio of work covers the fields of education, residential, aged care, streetscapes, waterfront design, and city design and extends to the design of street furniture. Early experience with city design in Canberra, consolidated by a period with Holfords and the Farrell/Grimshaw Partnership in London, led to a 40 year partnership with Darrel Conybeare, initially as Planning Workshop and from 1980 as Conybeare Morrison and Partners. The formation of Street Furniture Australia in 1986, and Context Landscape Design in 1990, reinforced the approach to reinventing the public domain.Experience in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and London, and responsibility for international projects in the UK, Malaysia, China, and the Philippines has led to numerous national and international project awards for urban and civic design excellence.
