Served as a senior manager with responsibilities for major environmental assessment and remediation programs. Program Manager for GUST Contractor Program. Worked under the Atlanta regional office but moved to Brunswick in 2008 to focus more on Coastal Georgia opportunities. Project activities included but were not limited to assessment of soil/groundwater contaminant plumes, planning and successful execution of lump sum, pay for performance cleanups, detailed characterization of subsurface hydrogeological features that significantly affected plume migration patterns and cleanup efficiencies, design, oversight and O&M of groundwater remediation systems along with permitting requirements, and reporting/closeout tasks. Assisted the City of Brunswick with obtaining a $200K EPA Brownfield Assessment Grant and managed implementation of the work. Assembled, mentored, trained and managed project teams, established and built Client relationships, performed senior technical reviews of project documents and proposals, provided technical guidance and QA/QC, ensured compliance with local, State and Federal regulations, and managed project financial performance. Maintained strong focus on safety compliance and ensured proper training of staff assigned to field projects. Participated in major proposal efforts for both private and governmental Clients including Federal Agencies.

Project Geologist/Project Manager/Sr. Manager 1985-1997Responsible for sampling, monitoring well installation, data reduction, health and safety, and field supervision of subcontractors for several contaminated site projects. Sites included solvent recycling and metal finishing facilities, assessment and remediation of lead contaminated soils within a residential area, uncontrolled wood preserving sites, etc. Performed aquifer tests, prepared technical reports related to sizing and placement of groundwater extraction wells, and conducted detailed hydrogeological analyses. Also, performed environmental audits of properties. As Project Manager, was responsible for technical and financial aspects of assessment and remediation projects. Projects included RCRA, CERCLA and UST sites. Work was multi-disciplinary in nature ranging from site assessment, characterization, and regulatory support to site audits and remedial action plan preparation. Served as primary lead for proposal development. Also served as a regional and corporate technical resource. Served as director of KEMRON’s internal training program. Founded a weekly “brown bag” seminar series which served as an ongoing resource for developing staff skills. Also, developed KEMRON’s in-house groundwater fate and transport modeling capabilities. Additional responsibilities included development, revision and implementation of in-house standard operating procedures and quality assurance plans. Finally, took over program management responsibilities for the GUST State Lead Contract.Regional Manager – 1997 - 2003Managed office consisting of approximately 30 employees and had P&L responsibilities. Also, performed QA/QC and technical reviews of projects and major deliverables. Lead business development efforts to expand work backlog for office and had primary responsibilities for proposal writing and review.
