Bill Needles brings more than four decades of vital community service as an Austin-area Emergency Medical Services provider. He began working as a Paramedic in 1974, and beginning in 1981, Needles dedicated his career to Austin-Travis County EMS, serving as an EMT and Paramedic in many different divisions, including Fleet and Facilities, Motorcycle Response Unit, Communications, Field Operations, Training, and Senior Flight Paramedic on StarFlight Rescue Helicopter. Today, Bill continues to serve citizens through his work with Stealth Power, by ensuring emergency-response agencies have access to the latest power technology for their vehicles. Needles attended the University of Cincinnati, studying business and graduating from the Medical School Paramedic Training Program.
