Managed GNC Australia's IT and telecommunications for just over 17 years until their closure in February 2016. GNC quickly became Australia's largest corporate owned health food retailer with 53 outlets. Employing just over 200 retail staff as well as over 40 head office and warehouse staff.I was responsible for planning, purchasing, deploying and managing all IT and telecommunications, providing technical and procedural support to retail, warehouse and head office staff and maintaining all hardware and software for the business.

SBA Foods produced and exported chilled and frozen meat to international markets. I was responsible for arranging the production and shipping of sales orders predominantly to North America. I changed the process from being a manual order / shipping ledger to fully automated spreadsheet with macros to extract reports such as monthly outstanding orders, daily production requirements and many more detailed reports required by management. Using the tools I created I was able to secure improved shipping rates with shipping companies, improved forecasting of production requirements helped buyers and production team with final positive impact on profit for each sales order.
