The Bournemouth Chamber was founded in 1916 with the mission to 'protect, assist and promote the interests of businesses within the Bournemouth area'.Our members range from large to small businesses and individuals who want to improve their own businesses as well as taking an interest in improving the commercial and general amenities of the town and surrounding area

When you become a member of the CII or PFS, you automatically join a local institute of your choice, usually close to where you live or work. There are currently 60 local institutes across the UK and the Insurance Institute of Bournemouth serves nearly 1100 insurance professionals from the town and the surrounding areas.The Institute is run by non-paid volunteers. We have a President elected annually and a council drawn from the membership also elected annually. Council meets about four times a year. Meetings generally last for 1.5 hours. If you are interested in joining council please contact the Secretary, Robin Giles on 07850 611619. We hold a prestigous annual dinner for members and their guests. This will be held on 27th March, 2020 at AFC.We arrange a local venue for examinations leading to associateship in April and October of each year. We run occasional social events where there is a demand from our membership.
