Technical as well as Managerial oversight of radiological design and development, radiological system design projects, as well as industrial projects in the manufacturing and utility power environments. Major projects include the Management of staff augmentation services for approximately 30 engineers and designers for decontamination and decommissioning activities at West Valley Nuclear Demonstration Project.

Responsible for the coordination of project, schedule, personnel, and resource management. Managed multi-million dollar projects including Biomass Conveyor & Material Handling Project for AES Sommerset Power Generating Facility, TRU Nuclear Waste Sorting Facility Design Improvements for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) Carlsbad New Mexico, Process and Radiological Containment Designs for the Vertical Pipe Unit (VPU) Project at the DOE Hanford Washington Site for VJ Technologies, Radioactive Waste Water Treatment System for West Valley Environmental Services, and Project/Connstruction Management & Engineering Design Services for a FUSRAP Project in Niagara Falls New York.

Complete management oversight of a multi discipline engineering company. Directly reporting on project status, cost performance, resource utilization and projections to the President. Responsible for three offices , six engineering managers, approximately 120 engineers, designers, drafting personnel, scheduling and clerical support. The department provides engineering services to a wide variety of industrial client with engineering budgets of $20k to $10m. Responsible for overall department performance on projects with capital costs of up to $100M. Traditional management tools and techniques are used to establish baseline budgets, schedules and performance measures.

Supported operating facilities needs and daily upsets as well as project management. Processes included general buildings and grounds, electrical power and standby systems, compresses air cooling, water, steam, potable water, and sewage treatment. Direct reports included clerical, technicians and 12 engineers with electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, process control and water treatment disciplines.Designed and installed, tested and placed into service a wide variety of electrical distribution, instrumentation, PLC and control equipment.
