Originally, assignments included a variety of sporting events from the Super Bowl to the Masters to the Olympics. Job duties included doing live shots, shooting b-roll and overall event coverage. Now, I concentrate my work to shooting features for E:60 and the ESPN Feature Unit. I also still cover the US Open and The Open golf events.

I began my career straight out of college working at WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin. After completing an internship the final semester I took a full-time job as a news photographer/editor doing live shots and covering general news assignments and feature stories. Later, I would specialize producing human interest stories before moving into the Murphy Entertainment Division of the company. In this job I worked on documentaries and did freelance production work for various commerical clients and television networks. I was recognized as the Television Photographer of the Year five times by the Wisconsin News Photography Association while working in the News Department at WISC.
