I enjoyed a varied, progressive and fulfilling sixteen year career:1 - Instrumentation and Control Engineer, Toronto Ontario. 2 - Canada Services Manager, Montreal Quebec. 3 - Midwestern USA, Field Services Manager, Chicago Illinois. 4 - Gulf Coast USA, Field Engineering and Field Services Manager, Houston Texas. 5 - Director Americas Field Engineering and Field Services Operations, Foxboro Massachusetts. The Foxboro Company provides products and services in a wide variety of industries: oil and gas, petrochemical, power, pulp and paper, food & beverage, water and wastewater. Customers rely on Foxboro to help them produce top quality products safely, reliably and accurately.

I was employed by Ontario Hydro, in the Instrumentation and Systems Engineering Department. I worked in an elite team responsible for P&ID review, mechanical completion, control and safety systems, startup, commissioning and operations acceptance of all instrumentation, control and safety systems. The Pickering plant consisted of six AECL designed CANDU (CANada Deuterium Uranium) pressurized heavy water reactors used to generate electric power. Pickering online constituted the most powerful nuclear facility in the world at that time. Pickering power generation capacity 3114 MW.
