My role was to advise and guide the ICI Central Services Manager and Section Managers on SHE issues in order to stimulate, and thus enable, them to achieve a continuously improving SHE performance. This entailed identifying, developing and delivering training packages so as to improve the SHE performance in significant areas of need and concern. Reviewing the Site SHE systems and developing training packages so as to maintain the required integrity. Chairing or attending all Dangerous Occurrences, Learning Events and Accident Investigations involving ICI or Contract Personnel.Together with the relevant Contract Management, develop the Safety Plans and carry out audits so as to ensure compliance with Statutory Legislation, the Site SHE Policy and SHE Regulations.
