During my tenure at Root Electric, I lead the transition of Root Electric from a primarily sub-contracting based business model to a prime-contracting based business model. Accomplishments have been made by developing a team based approach to researching and implementing a service-specific client management system. My goals for the next five years are to fine tune Root Electric's brand strategy and to diversify its scope of services, while remaining true to the discipline of electrical work.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I worked as an independent contractor in sales. My contract involved direct door to door sales over a four month contract. During my tenure I developed top-down business experience to include business financial management, customer service, direct sales, time management skills development, EQ development, problem solving skills, and attitude management. I moved approximately $20,000 of product with a 30% profit. If corporate America had a boot camp, this would be it. I attribute my success in later positions to my experience here.

This was a summer internship that was initiated when I graduated from high school. At 18 I started as a car wash and PDI manager. I was in charge of 4 to 10 car wash employees on any given day. Other responsibilities included inspecting newly delivered cars as they arrived via truck freight from Ford Motor Company. In subsequent summers, I worked directly with the commercial truck sales staff. I was involved in the entire sales process from prospecting clients to delivering vehicles.
