Responsibilities included commercial construction lending, securitization of commercial mortgage backed securities, managing collateral execution function, interfacing with rating agencies, b-piece buyers and bond holders, and 4 years covering the Mid Atlantic region in origination.

Bill worked in multiple facets of Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities platform which included origination, underwriting, closing, servicing, pricing, structuring, and execution of commercial mortgages.1998-2001 Served on loan committee and defended underwriting assumptions to rating agencies and B-piece buyers.2001-2004 Continued managing 1998-2001 responsibilities in addition to managing the underwriting platform for the entire country which included being responsible for executing collateral through the securitization process.2004-2008: Ran the origination platform for the Mid-Atlantic region with primary responsibility for Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. 2005 resulted in the successful origination and closing of $600,000,000 in new loan production which later increased to $1.2 billion in 2006.

-Relationship Manager for Real Estate Banking Group (REBG)-Main responsibility comprised of originating and managing commercial construction and development loans for a portfolio of Charlotte based real estate developers. Asset classes included retail, office, industrial, and multifamily.

Bill performed appraisals on all major asset classes-primarily proposed projects for developers. The Resolution Trust sponsored: Savings and Loan Bailout, shifted demand for appraisal services from developers to the RTC and ultimately the banks going forward. Assignments also included banks and owners of REO portfolios purchased from commercial banks and special servicers.
