Proteus Innovative Technologies, LLC is a technology company serving the commercial roofing industry and the parent company to the NaturaShield roofing companies in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It's proprietary polymeric roofing system is anticipated to revolutionize the low-slope roofing industry by providing a durable, environmentally friendly, seamless membrane regardless the size of the project. The quality of this turnkey solution begins with proprietary resin chemistry and when combined with a high strength fabric it forms a high strength composite membrane. The manufacturing process is then continued on the roof by the NaturaShield technical field teams using the same polymeric materials and processes that formed the composites in the factory. This mobile process allows the technicians to fuse the sheets together and to seal around all curbs and penetrations. Thereby, eliminating all seams and the 95% of leaks that are attributed to the seams.

Company founder. Provided over-site to Sales, Marketing and Operations of a multi-faceted industrial maintenance company that specialized in roofing, insulation, concrete repair and specialty protective coatings. Developed new market opportunities as well as new product offerings. Maintained rapport with clients which included Ford Motor Company, Delphi Automotive, Amway, City of Grand Rapids, Hope College, Illinois Institute of Technology, Michigan State University and International Transmission Corporation (ITC ) to name a few.

Developed and executed territory business plan for a seven state territory. Implemented sales strategies through a network of independent sales representatives. Provided sales and technical support to multiple licensed contractor organizations.

Managed four separate distribution accounts and provided support to their respective field sales agents. Advised Architectural and Engineering professionals with solution oriented products based on specific design criteria. Recipient of the "Outstanding Region Award". Served on the Boards of International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and American Concrete Institute (ACI).

Charged with the start-up of a sport surfacing division in the United States. Myself and one manager developed the business plan and implemented strategies to launch a Division focused on providing polyurethane products for the fabrication of rubberized running tracks and indoor multi-purpose floors.Developed logo and marketing property. Moved production of polyurethane product from Zurich to a toll manufacturer in Michigan saving company an average of 25% in import costs and reduced product delivery times from three months to two weeks. Negotiated licensing agreements with Dutch sport floor counterparts, Descol AG to consolidate US operations and representation. SikaSport Division was absorbed by Sika US.
