Develop, maintain, and enhance desktop and web applications using Visual Studio with an emphasis on Windows 10 readiness.

Involved with projects such as:-The consolidation of two QuickBase-powered workflows to a single SQL-based web solution.-Refinement of a program that finds claims where letters have been sent out and resolves them if no correspondence has been received within the appropriate amount of time.-Refinement of an audit process to include archival procedures and streamlining of the data transfer-Updating internal web pages to utilize the new departmental template

Used Visual Studio to create Windows applications, interfacing with Access database andADODB record set manipulation with supervision from technical manager. Continuing to develop QuickBase and Access-based solutions as well as advise on QuickBase API enabled web pages and reports.o Recognized by the Southwest Region Network with Appreciation Excellence Award.o Design, development, delivery and support of Quickbase applications – 15+ in total, requiring development across the Presentation, Business and Data Layerso Development of QuickBase applications with a heavy use of complex workflow, forms based development and development of customized Web Applications which integrate with QuickBase databases.o Produced the Daily Network Escalation reporting tool, which is an automated program that updates the Network Escalation toolkit. This allows the call center to manage, track, and trend ticket inventory and turnaround times in order to meet their metrics. o Completed the National Call Schedules automation, which is a QuickBase application that stores data uploaded every half hour. This is the data repository for the reporting webpage, which allows for division of the data by platform and date.o Developed a method to successfully “scrape” data from the proprietary claims processing screen using MS Access-based VBA, a first for the company. Utilized this technique to create a “dependent missing” tool, a rework data scraping Excel spreadsheet, a “claim compare” tool, and am currently working on other opportunities.o Updated a single-table solution in QuickBase for CG&A Audit team to a relational table structure that allowed for more detailed audit feedback and error-trending capabilities. This included updating a complex Access workflow (modified version of the QuickBase Desktop).

Built/Maintain the "CSP Workbook" database: Consolidates reporting for average handletime, auxiliary phone time, schedule adherence, attendance, and call quality into onecentralized database, complete with multi-level reports including year to date individualcomposite sheets as well as monthly team level performance reports. This is used in both Arlington and Bismarck. (2003-current)o Built/Maintain the “SB418” database: Takes input from frontline CSPs via a customizedform inaccordance with Senate Bill 418 legislation. Auditors follow up in the database withapproval or denial and the database generates letters to that end. Reporting featuresinclude how many verification/declination in a time span, what the denial codes were, etc.o Created a module in the Network Escalation database that scrapes web-generated emailsinto the database from a dedicated mailbox at the push of a button. (2005-current)o Built/Maintain the “Weekly Schedules” database: Makes a CSP's schedule available tothem directly, also (via daily update) enables a CSP to see how their call stats arelooking for the week (Weekly Schedules.mde). Currently in use in Arlington; Automated a daily reporting task using VBA that at one time took 90 minutes to complete(Arlington Backlog and Inventory.xls), mostly PivotTables. (2006)o Automated a monthly reporting task using VBA that took hours to complete (NetworkEscalation module on Personal.xls), again mostly PivotTables. (2006)(More projects and details are available upon request)I have created various "tick mark" databases, SalesWeb survey database (as well as Accesssurvey databases), and timer databases to facilitate initiatives for various sites withinthe company. I thoroughly enjoy using VBA. I have also helped Call Management with some formulas regarding scheduled hoursvs. calls taken vs. average handle time, etc.

Duties included: Account reconciliation, reviewing and maintaining collections database, processingreinstatement agreements, customer service for internal and external customers, variousreporting (status of collections accounts, write off recommendations, litigation reports,etc) on both HMO and Traditional platforms, project management, account analysis, creatingmail merge documents to generate manual letters and labels for certified mail, follow upwith terminated accounts, assist customer service with collections procedures, reviewingand sending accounts to national collections, helped develop the Core Collections databasefor tracking the progress of accounts sent to Core, identifying and submitting write-offs,helping AR with paid vs. billed spreadsheets, outbound collections calls, preparation oflitigation files, other duties as assigned.

Duties included:Account reconciliation for HMO group plan sponsors using mainframe applications (MSA,EBAR), generating professional discrepancy letters, customer service (incoming phonecalls), problem resolution, cooperating with brokers to ensure customer satisfaction inregards to billing issues, identifying and submitting write-offs and manual adjustmentswhen necessary, process enrollments/terminations/changes to members.
