• Epic ODBA Admin (L2) - Build, Upgrade, and Maintain the Epic system's production database that provides healthcare applications and data to the Cigna Medical Group using system administration skills combined with Epic's recommendations. • Support and Assist the the Epic ODBA Admin (L3) on building, upgrading, and maintaining Epic's 13 environments for the Cigna Medical Group to help maximize system availability, performance, and efficiency.• Coordinate and Maintain all documentation for all AZ critical applications for Disaster Recovery• Develop and maintain user/technical documentation of system areas.• Ensuring delivery and production changes meet stakeholder expectations.• Establish standards and best practices for SQL (2012 and 2017), and Interacting with developers in Structured Query Language (SQL) scripting.• Maintain and support Clinical health care applications for the Arizona Market [SQL Server, Radiology (Merge/Nuance), Audiology, Dragon(Nuance), Cerner Pharmacy]• Primary support for Onsite Clinic support• Prioritize Incidents & Service Requests w/in Applications appropriately• Provide off hours and weekend support for Deployments and System Changes/Upgrades.• Provide quality and system efficiency improvements.• Provide resolution for the high production support issue.• Utilize alert and monitoring tools to improve response time (Ignite, Teamquest, Sev1, Xirrus, Nexthink).• Work with other IT and Business partners to optimize application performance and stability.• Work with our L3 (Development) team on System and Application upgrades• Work with our L3 (Development) team on troubleshooting and deployment of SQL SSIS Packages and jobs .

Responsible for the environmental aspects of a database, which may include Installation of new software, Configuration of hardware and software, Security administration, Data analysis, Preliminary Database design, Data modeling and optimization, Responsible for the administration of existing enterprise databases and the analysis, design, and creation of new databases in SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2016 environments. Proactively monitor systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints, Establish standards and best practices for SQL, and Interacting with developers in Structured Query Language (SQL) scripting.
