William is a Vice President of the Capital Group Companies Global. The Capital Group Companies is one of the world's leading investment management firms. The Capital Group has been in business since 1931, has more than 20 offices worldwide and employs about 7,500 associates.William manages the Compensation department for the Capital Group and has acted in that capacity since 1995. Responsibilities include consulting with various business groups on compensation plan design, market analysis, position and organization redesign, definition and analysis, sales compensation and bonus program development. Additionally, he serves on the Human Resources Technology group and was responsible for project management of a global implementation of a new Human Resources information system as well as a Manager Direct Access application. For the 15 years, William has served on the Contributions Committee for the Capital Group’s Charitable Foundation. This Committee is responsible for reviewing and approving all donation requests for organizations in the Orange County area. Prior to working with the Capital Group Companies, Incorporated, William worked for the global consulting group of William Mercer, Incorporated, a subsidiary of the Marsh and McLennan Companies. He was elected an officer of the firm in 1991 and worked as a Consultant in Mercer’s Western Region Compensation Group for more than 6 years. Currently he is also a member, and a CCP, of the World at Work Compensation Association and the Orange County Compensation and Benefits Association.William is married, has two children and lives in Laguna Niguel, California. He has served on the Board of Directors for The Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana for 5 years and is currently a charter member of the Innovators group for the Discovery Science Center (Cube). He has also volunteered his time as a soccer coach for AYSO and a basketball coach with the NJB.
