Used 3D modeling to study structural/architectural conflicts. New campus project with five prime contracts covering the site and individual buildings requiring multi-discipline coordination between contractors, civil works, systems, structure, and architecture. Building types include administrative offices, laboratories, classrooms, pool facilities, sports facilities, site support, and lecture halls. Structures are cast in place concrete with hourdi slab upper levels. Exterior finish is precast concrete and stone. The facility includes data center, emergency generator, chilled water system, thermal energy storage, three story glass atria, elevated pedestrian bridge, outdoor amphitheater, mosque, landscaped roof deck, food services and offices. University of Texas Biomedical Engineering Expansion 2008-9/2011-12 Austin TX Parsons (38,600 GSF) Project Manager. Led ten firm design team during schematic design, design development and construction documents. Used Revit with AE team for contract documentation. Reviewed project design/scope with clients and regulatory agencies, and ensured compliance with building code and ADA requirements. Addressed and resolved construction issues. Project attained LEED Gold Certification. Williamson County Emergency Services Operations Center 2009-2012 Georgetown TX Parsons (54,600 GSF / $20M) Project Manager for the Needs Assessment, Site Selection, Master Site Plan, CM at Risk Selection, and Design of an Emergency Services facility. Design documentation using Revit. This structure houses the 911 Emergency Communications Department and the Office of Emergency Management with adjoining Emergency Operations Center that will serve multiple jurisdictions and response agencies.King Abdullah University of Science and Technology 2007 Thuwal, Saudi Arabia (4,000,000 GSF / $3.5B) Parsons Led the eight-person Parsons team in design documentation of Parking Garage (1,000,000 GSF), Plaza, Service Area, and Commons Building (100,000 GSF) in collaboration with HOK in using Revit. 2 story Concrete structural frame and flat slab over concrete mat sub foundation and landscaped plaza area on top.
