Examples:Consultant for the United States' most prestigious and extensive media repository. the Library of Congress's Packard Campus for Audio-Visual Conservation; prior to the facility being built, served as consultant and author of the “Unified Strategy for the Preservation of Audio and Video Materials,”a strategic planning document for the Library of Congress.Proposed, designed and raised funding for the Belfer Audio Laboratory and Archive at Syracuse University. As Belfer's Director I led numerous research projects including pioneering efforts in digital media management over the internet. This work was featured in Forbes Magazine and broadcast internationally.As Senior Marketing Director for New Media Systems at Digital Equipment Corporation led the project team that was first to demonstrate a working digital model for what is now the norm for the broadcast industry.I also remain very active in media production and education and keep current with the technologies. This remains a key part in providing a first-hand perspective in the design of the workflow and communications solutions that will have long-term life and be cost-effective for corporations, institutions, government agencies and other media dependent entities.
