Planning & Commercial Manager
Responsible for the coordination of Trinity House operational planning and commercial activity and Tri-GLA coordinated planning and helicopter operations incorporating Tri-GLA 24/7 monitoring.• Overall responsibility for the coordination of Trinity House resources in liaison with all Stakeholders, to ensure service wide planning and workforce activities are efficient and cost effective. To Manage the Planning Centre incorporating the Inter-GLA Lighthouse Monitoring Centre, ensuring the effective deployment of resources; including the interaction between maintenance personnel, ships and helicopters.• To plan, manage and deliver the Tri-GLA Coordinated plan and monitoring, working in conjunction with NLB and Irish Lights through the Co-ordinated Fleet Management, to meet stated individual and Tri-GLA requirements. • To plan, manage and deliver the Service’s Commercial objectives. Responsible for the identification of opportunities and for winning business to exploit reserve capacity in its assets and resources through the identification and development of potential markets and contracts through Business-to-Business, Business-to-Consumer, including management of the TSL Lighthouse Holiday Cottages and the development of new future commercial initiatives.
