Currently work at Williams Transportation .I’ve worked in the trucking and logistics industry, for the last 30 years. Working in the transportation industry you are required to wear many hats from a dispatcher, sales, customer service, Load planner , I have been able and coordinate the movement of trucks and freight across the continental United States. I’ve been very successful at building relationships with co-workers, drivers, and customers who are from very different backgrounds and in very different positions. I’ve found that the key is simply listening,respecting others, and investing in relationships. I first got into transportation business via the U.S. Army,where I worked in logistics my reserve unit got called up for desert storm so I spent some time in Saudi Arabia was promoted to Sargent during the war came back home to work at Nebco/Evans learned about every aspect of the distribution business.
