Class TeacherEly St. John'S Primary School Apr 2014 - Aug 2018Ely, CambridgeshireAs a primary school teacher, I developed schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. I also facilitated learning by establishing a relationship with pupils, keeping my learning resources organised and creating a positive and safe learning environment in the classroom.I developed and fostered the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude. Finally, I assessed and recorded progress, in accordance with school policies, in order to prepare pupils for national tests. I linked pupils' knowledge to earlier learning and developed ways to encourage it further, challenging and inspiring pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding.
