CurrentSupports VERTEX's Construction, Disputes, and Forensics Practice Area including experts in dispute resolution and litigation support. Performs technical evaluations including standard of care and construction defect analysis, termination reviews. Strong experience in drafting expert reports, presentations, cost estimates and cost allocations, and other deliverables to clients. Prepares client-ready work product for senior level review. Demonstrates excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to successfully achieve project milestones. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as a member of a team. Demonstrable experience working independently. Flexible, creative problem-solving skills. Ability to lead delivery initiatives and manage clients’ in the course of undertaking projects.Research of historical data and pricing in the development of repair and replacement cost estimates. Extensive experience with Xactimate, RS Means, Microsoft Excel, on-screen takeoff software and other construction estimating software to develop property loss and construction defect cost of repair estimates. Assists with data gathering including detailed document reviews of large sets of data and database creation/ management. Creates high quality work product and demonstrates exceptional quality control. Experience with multiple e-discovery software platforms to review disclosed evidence.Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
