As a founding member and Core Organizer, I have been deeply involved in the design and prototyping of our Eurorack synthesizer modules, including front panel design and layout, prototyping electronics and code for Arduino-based modules, and conducting user research. I have also led projects including building our collective’s Web site, leading our social media team, and doing video production. As a geographically distributed collective, we use modern tools to work collaboratively across distance and time, including Slack, Discourse, Github, Google Suite, WordPress, and Dropbox.

As a PLTW Master Teacher, I facilitate professional development for educators across the United States, in both in-person and virtual settings.

In 2014, I began the Technology & Engineering program at A2 STEAM, a public K-8 project-based learning school. In 2020, I added the role of high school PLTW Engineering teacher to my responsibilities, splitting my time between the K-8 environment and high school engineering courses at Pioneer High School. As of 2022, I now run the Engineering program at Pioneer High School, teaching the PLTW Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, and Engineering Design & Development courses. I also co-teach Advanced Topics in Programming Languages, a course I co-created to facilitate high-performing students about current topics such as AI, physical computing, and robotics.
