Responsible for creating control submittal, valve schedules and providing support during installation. Understanding the flexibility and limitations of Siemens APOGEE controllers to provide cost effective solutions specific to project requirements. Coordinate third party integration with communication protocol such as BACnet, P2, LON and Modbus. Major project includes:LEED Platinum project which includes control of radiant floor cooling and heating, radiant cooling ceiling panels, indoor air quality monitoring, under floor blower with VAV floor diffuser, ground source heat pump, and motorized window control. This project also required integration with power and water metering, life safety panels and Lutron lighting.Designed Ethernet network for BACnet/IP and floor level network for BACnet MS/TP. Designed room pressurization control which includes sizing venturi valves and reheat coil, tracking supply and exhaust flow and monitoring room pressure. Customized standard zone controller to meet complex project requirement aim for energy efficiency; over two hundred fifty boxes each consists of heating and cooling coil, condensate switch, supply/exhaust tracking and occupancy schedule. Coordination with third party for monitoring equipment such as RO/DI water system, ATS, generator, Decon chamber, Rosemount control panel, Phoenix venturi air valves and various lab equipment systems. Research and design of wireless floor level network. Over one hundred sixty VAV box controllers across eight buildings communicate wirelessly by Zigbee technology to a centralize controller in each building.
