About Bill Watson
Personal overviewI actively strive to motivate and encourage others to succeed by engaging with and developing the best possible culture within the workplace. I thrive on working with others and showing positive leadership to encourage personal growth and Instead of changing people to fit the job I prefer to try to put the right people in the jobs in which they can perform well and succeed. I believe Great managers inspire their team by being authentic, direct, and honest. I enjoy working autonomously and take pride in being accountable for my own performance and that of the entire team. I am very much a person who is hands on and a leader who chooses to simply communicate, connect, and bring my full presence to those I lead. I am a leader who paints the picture of what they see as possible and helps to inspire and engage the employees into turning that vision into reality. I put a lot of effort into thinking beyond what individuals can and do, working hard on actively encouraging people to be part of the bigger picture. Teams I believe that are high functioning can accomplish a lot more working together than that of many individuals who work autonomously.I am also a committed family man and try hard to lead a balanced lifestyle that includes supporting our two children in their various sporting and academic activities. My wife is a small business owner and we work hard to balance our commitments to ensure the family comes first. This is to me key to ensuring I have the right motivation in all my endeavours.StrengthsI am a person who places my Personal Integrity, Professionalism and Commitment first and foremost. I am self-aware and work actively to build a unique personal style and brand, placing emphasis on being authentic and transparent. I am able to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities and believe it is key to understand who the decision makers are and form strong robust relationships to ensure the business’ success.
