Bill is the CEO of WGW Capital Showcase. WGW Showcase presents half-day events featuring ten fast growing companies presenting their company overviews and plans for continued growth via 20-minute “TED-type” presentations. During the balance of the day the corporate executives will be available to meet with capital providers in a one-on-one environment. These showcases provide the finance community interface directly with the C-Suite of local lower-middle market corporations who are prospects for growth capital or M&A. Before PE Showcase, Bill Webster was the Chief Executive Officer of the Association for Corporate Growth – Los Angeles. The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) is a global community for middle market M&A dealmakers and business leaders focused on driving growth. ACG members have access to data, content and networking opportunities to access capital, make deals and foster corporate growth. Webster also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Bay Cities Container Corp. in Pico Rivera, California. Bay Cities is a manufacturer of corrugated packaging and merchandising displays. .Prior to joining Bay Cities, Bill served as the interim executive director of the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO). A WPO member (WPO Santa Monica Bay) since 2001 and a YPO member for 15 years, he worked with the YPO-WPO International Board, WPO Board, and regional and chapter leadership to advance the mission of WPO and strengthen the value the organization provides to members worldwide. Santa Monica Bay.Webster previously served as president of two companies focused on alternative fuel and specialized vehicles: Ebus, Inc., a venture capital-funded firm that develops and manufactures electric and hybrid-electric buses, trolleys and shuttles; and Charger Bicycles where he oversaw the development, manufacturing and distribution of an electric power-assisted bicycle.Specialties: A graduate of Princeton University, Webster brings a broad, world-view, perspective to his leadership positions. An avid musician, he is also the founder, leader and trombone player for Webster’s Unabridged Big Band and the Decades show band. He and his wife, Mary Lynn, have three sons: Bill, 28; Dan, 25; and Tom, 19.
