• Oversees the development of division operating plans to maximize operational performance and promote service and safety. • Works with operations to ensure adequate resource (i.e., people and equipment) availability that supports and builds the business. • Oversees Package operations within the division to ensure it’s safe and efficient performance. • Troubleshoots system, operational, and service issues and applies the Quality Improvement Process to ensure continuous improvement throughout the division. • Reviews and analyzes package planning reports to identify trends impacting the business. • Communicates report findings to operations and district staff to share division performance, business plan results, and incorporate those results into future operating plans. • Directs the implementation of new operations processes and techniques to ensure effective functionality. • Confirms the utilization of electronic systems (i.e., preload and dispatch) to improve performance and comply with operational plans. • Conducts frequent management meetings to review individual and division performance and create plans for improvement.
