Transpera's leadership asked me to step in while they performed a broader executive team search, and the latest funding round was completed. As Interim VP of Engineering, I was responsible for software development and network operations for this Canadian information technology, development, marketing, and design agency. During my tenure with the company, I created client-side SDKs for iPhone and Android so that app developers could quickly integrate video advertising into their apps. I also moved the company's ad server and video encoding infrastructure to the cloud and planned a network infrastructure overhaul.

I founded eWalk Virtual Tours after going through the experience of buying a house in a new area. The online home buying process was clunky, and there weren't many solutions to help realtors market the homes they were posting. eWalk Virtual Tours delivered realistic virtual tours for Real Estate using an innovative walk-thru technology that was novel for its time. Our technology front-end interfaces, order management and production, e-Commerce integration, campaign tracking, analytics, and more to agents throughout California.

Propel Software recruited me to build products for database infrastructure, e-commerce, and online wallet technologies. During the 18 months I was with the company, I built and focused priorities for a multi-disciplinary team of 80 people across software development, quality assurance, documentation, user experience, and project management. I led the architecture of the product's platform, features, and user interface. I also partnered with the company founder to develop and evolve the company's business model, marketing plan, and business development strategy. I also negotiated a partnership with RSA for secure data storage.

Following Disney's acquisition of Infoseek, I led the integration efforts to ensure a smooth transition as the technology formed the foundation for the company's go.com network (which is still used today). As a key executive team member, I managed Content, Search, and Directory, led a team of more than 1000 employees across different geographic locations, negotiated contracts with content providers, provided sales training and drove product milestones and schedules.

As the company grew and scaled, I took on more of a strategic operations role and oversaw all aspects of product delivery and marketing, including building a partner network of over 1000 to distribute the software. Disney acquired Infoseek in 1999.

I was recruited to Infoseek as one of Infoseek's first engineers to guide product development for the first desktop meta-search tool for searching multiple search engines simultaneously. As VP of Advanced Development, I built a team to manage and measure website operations, keeping the service uptime 99.99%.

Frame is where I cut my teeth in software engineering. I quickly rose through the ranks, taking on more responsibility before leadership tasked me with overseeing the software engineering teams that developed the company's FrameMaker product on Unix, Windows, OS/2, NeXT, SGI, and Macintosh before the company went public in 1992. When Adobe acquired Frame Technology in 1995 for $500 million, I led the engineering integration team, ensuring a successful merger and retention of critical teams.
