As the chief architect for the Service Realization Excellence organization, I collaborate with the Vice President and senior executives to instrument technology roadmaps for their application portfolio. Working directly with executive business leaders to evaluate short and long-term opportunities, I create and present comprehensive, strategic architecture to maximize business value. Architecture is built from vendor product evaluations and internal development of core application investments with cross-organizational teams. I work with the financial and delivery teams to formulate program budgets, return on investment projections, and phased delivery plans. As the chief architect for Social Technology, I define and shape the social business strategy for the corporate culture by doing deep dive analysis of current vendor products and evangelizing enterprise collaboration trends. I have worked directly with IBM, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Jive product teams to evaluate and position their social strengths for AT&T internal and external teams. I provide analysis and recommendations directly to the CIO and Senior Executive Vice Presidents. Recommendations steer the corporate adoption of key social technologies and vendor partnerships. For two consecutive years, I was given the privilege to speak in the AT&T Developer Symposium to over 1,200 professionals. Once on the benefits of Activity Streams within the enterprise and the following year on the usage of Domain Scripting Languages for rules based execution. Both talks were well received and I have subsequently been asked to consult upon on internal project strategies in these technology fields. Because of my evangelism within IT, I was asked to serve on the steering committee for the 2013 AT&T Developer Symposium. Managed the development team responsible for the launch of the Business Marketing Group customer provisioning and ordering client (Phoenix). I was responsible for the release capacity planning, budget scope, and development efficacy.Managed the development teams for four enterprise middleware based applications exposing legacy systems to internal and external clients. As an early advocate of agile techniques, I positioned the teams to consistently increase productivity and minimize defects by incorporating focused design & development iterations with a continuous build and testing strategy.

As an early evangelist for the adoption of XML technologies within the company, I developed java connection libraries and standards for internal Web Service interfaces. Building on the success of internal implementations, I co-founded the Common Service Interface application. This application enables legacy systems to expose a service-oriented architecture to external clients. Led the evaluation and incorporation of the Contivo and Parasoft’s SOAPTest products to shorten development delivery (3-6 week turnaround) and minimize defect rates (<5%).
