I believe that where possible any disputes should try to be resolved through a win win mediated outcome rather than litigation. People facing difficult legal issues and disputes need a lawyer who understands the importance of the people involved as well the correct analysis and application of the law.I have worked for over 20 years as a lawyer, both in private practice, and for the IRD. I have an excellent understanding of commercial and tax issues. I have my own legal business as an enrolled Barrister, and as part of that business have contract positions in the legal educational sector, and sit on three Statutory bodies, dealing with respectively Alcohol, Real Estate, and Gambling related issues. Prior to my legal career I worked for ten years in the banking/finance industry and through that work have a good understanding of the world of finance. While I take my work seriously, I often find the best way to deal with a difficult day is through humour and not taking yourself too seriously.
